Dr. Karmaliani's research encompasses Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Middle East. (3/8/12)

Global Health Initiatives and the School of Law present "AIDS Stigma - the Personal and the Political". A public lecture featured Justice Edwin Cameron of the Constitutional Court of South Africa, one of the most prominent jurists and human rights activists in the world, and the first Distinguished Visitor to the School of Law during the 2011-12 academic year. Opening remarks were presented by Joseph O'Neill, MD, MS, MPH, Professor of Medicine and Director, Global Health Initiatives.
